Brady dismisses Sam leaving rumours
Premier League clubs were put on alert last week by the news that the highly-rated German will end a seven-year spell as Borussia Dortmund manager this summer.

Klopp was immediately installed as favourite to replace the under-fire Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City, although they would not be the only club looking to bring him in.

Reports emanated on Tuesday that West Ham had seen an audacious approach rebuffed by the Dortmund coach - talk vice-chairman Brady rejected out of hand.

“It is just nonsense,” she told Sky Sports News. “Sam is the manager, we have talked to him about sitting down at the end of the season, which we will do.

“We have to see what he wants to do going forwards. That’s how these things work.

“What sort of money does he want to invest in players? What positions does he want? Those are the conversation you always have, typically, at the end of the season and we make an arrangement going forwards. That’s still our intention.”

Few expect Allardyce to still be at the helm next season, with bookmakers making Sunderland a more likely destination than Upton Park.

The 60-year-old’s contract expires in the summer and Brady insists no decision has yet been made on his future.

“I think we have, as a board, always made it clear that we sit down with Sam at the end of every season,” she said.

“We’ve done that since he has joined us and we’ve done that when his contract has run out before.

“So nothing has changed in that respect. I think our performances - there has been one or two recent ones that haven’t been great - overall have definitely improved.

“The team have done very well, we haven’t been able to get the results we wanted but the performances have been good.

“Sam has had a good season, we’ve had a few recent disappointing results - he would be more disappointed than anyone.

“But, overall, the relationship with Sam is good. He has done what we have asked of him.”

West Ham sit 10th in the standings after a bright start to the campaign petered out, with Sunday’s 2-0 loss at Manchester City extending their poor recent run.

The Hammers have won only two league games since the turn of the year, with Brady recently saying Allardyce’s side are “underachieving”.

“I like him,” she added. “I get on very well with him, we have a good relationship.

“He gets on with his job, he comes to me when he needs something.

“He is very collaborative, he has a very clear vision about what he wants to achieve and I have no complaints about working him at all.”

Any CEO would have an eye on current performances. The board would not offer SA another 2 year contract if our last few games are all bad. Our directors hate wasting money which is why they made it to be multi-millionaires.

They might offer another year hoping SA would reject that. I am sure Mark Curtis will be getting offers all the time from desperate clubs like Sunderland, Fulham or QPR for next year.

One thing is certain though and Karren Brady did not say that SA will at WH next year like I seem to remember happening 2 years ago BEFORE the end of the season....

Let's hope Curtis is fixing him up elsewhere. Best outcome for all parties.

People stick up for him for the same reasons he has mates in the media - he ticks the boxes for what is expect from an English manager, allowing them to trot out the usual lazy clichés about how you can depend on him to keep you from relegation. It's all bollocks.

" That’s how these things work."

Really?

Given the way previous managers have been dealt with, and approaches to replacements made, both here and at BCFC, along with the various undermining via the media, would suggest that "That's how things SHOULD work", but too often before, haven't.

You may or may not be right, but many on here seem to think that how he ends the season will depend if he stays or not. Won't be hard to find those comments on here from numerous posters.

Winning is the whole raison d'etre for me, meeting mates and bantz is secondary

Don't be silly, it's not the same thing at all. Incredible that some are still sticking up for this bloke. Of course he has to go.

I can see where Mr P is coming from.... bit like when Nolan had a half decent game (v MUFC?) ... you just knew that he would be in for the foreseeable future... if he had a shitter he probably would have been harder to justify giving him a slot in the team....

The bits and pieces I have heard I think they will stick with him for at least one more season no matter what the results for the last few games... now when they sit down if he says fuck off I deserve more than a year is a different kettle of fish... so basically we might as well hope we win the remaining games as it's not going to matter one jolt whether he is here next season or not.

sam Allardyce is out performing, john lyall aside when the stakes have never been higher.

I cannot for the life of me understand why he gets any shit let alone the shit he gets.

This season is done, was a long time ago. Whoever is down is already down, top 4 is set and chelsea are winning....its a boring season.

Re: Brady dismisses Sam leaving rumours
The mindset needs to change.

I want us to win every remaining game and finish as high up the table as possible.

Can't see them getting rid of Allardyce now, not with one season left 'til the move - unless they bought in a big name with a lot of calibre, which I can't see happening, then any other switch, they'd consider a gamble, which they won't be making ahead of the move.

The 'mindset thing - if we finish 10th, then can do without the 'big achievement' talk, especially given our league position around Christmas.

Also, if we really are looking to push on, then can also do without the Gold type comments ahead of Leicester City, along the lines of "it's Leicester, not Manchester City or Chelsea"....it's the wrong attitude, pretty much writing off games and accepting that they will end in defeat, before a fucking ball has been kicked.

If Allardyce does approach a couple of games like that, then the last thing needed is endorsement for it from above.

And still think the comments about the fans being on Allardyce's back are fucking rich, considering the petty swipes that they've had at him now and again through the media, whilst he's been at the club. They've done it with him, they did it with Grant and they did it with Zola....so don't point fingers at the fanbase.

Spot on son. I really don't get some of our fans sometimes. Also, there is a chance we might continue to improve with Allardyce here.

I don't want that but I don't buy into the fact he HAS to go for the clubs best interests.

"Let's say for the sake of arguement that if we win the rest of our games Allardyce stays, but if we lose them Allardyce goes? Surely it's a no brainer if we are talking about the greater good."

Not necessarily, depends on the replacement?

i hope we win all the remaining games and qualify for the Europa league via the FPL - should be a greater selling point for a better qualified manager to come in.

Losing the rest and finishing bottom half wouldn't be a good thing no matter how much you hate the manager. It's the same shit as not wanting a player to score for you club as you hate them.

What the fuck is wrong with our fans nowadays?

What are you, a 12 year old? Let's say for the sake of arguement that if we win the rest of our games Allardyce stays, but if we lose them Allardyce goes? Surely it's a no brainer if we are talking about the greater good. I don't know if you have noticed, but the season for us is over. They are going through the motions.

I'm not doubting your full blooded support SoA but I have been watching West Ham since the late 70's and BFS tenure has been very depressing (apart from the glorious four months before Christmas)....

I think it may be that having seen a glimpse of what the players can achieve to have BFS seemingly willfully take that away and revert to his negative, boring and ineffective football, is just too much and the fucker has to go.

Ive not been to upton park since the wolves game before we went up.

However i live in america and have seen every game some and away on tv, since we get every game live.

I also had a season ticket for the vast majority of the time since 1980 until that wolves game and can reliably inform you that Mr Allardyces tenure is ion of the more successful ive seen.

That is like saying anyone that wants their kid to have Chemo is a cunt.

On the face of it chemo is a horrible thing to put a kid through - but if it meant killing a cancer and therefore has a long term benefit, then only a cunt would not want their kid to have it.

Have you really just asked someone if English is their first language and yet twice used the word 'loose' in sucessive posts?

I have not once even suggested I want West Ham to 'loose'.

However, if it meant that Sam leaves, then I would want us to LOSE. The reason for that, is that I believe that is in the long term interest of the club i support.

Personally think it all depends on the alternatives + if they are prepared to come here here.
No time for risks another season of the fat man may be the least worst option.
Newcastle fans have proved themselves to be not just a bunch of cunts but a know nothing bunch of cunt, exwhy clubs have never & should never listen to what supporters say explains
